Welcome to the Kindergarten of the German School Kuala Lumpur, where the youngest of our students come together. In Kindergarten our highly qualified, multicultural team cares in a nurturing environment for about 50 children aged between 2,5 and 6 years. Individual care givers and liaison persons are taking care of our mixed-age groups in a well-structured daily routine. We are guided by the mission statement of the German School Kuala Lumpur in our work, the German Thuringian Curriculum and the Quality Framework of the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad governing Kindergartens and Pre-schools.
Our Kindergarten is situated in a separate cosy residential building located in a quiet area, far removed from traffic, about 3 km away from the school. Spread over two floors, the building comprises two assembly rooms, the pre-school, a spacious hallway, kitchen, music room with many musical instruments, nooks and niches. The Kindergarten building is surrounded by a spacious outdoor area. Here our children can enjoy a sandpit, a nest swing, a climbing scaffold, soccer goals, a rock corner, a trampoline, a basketball hoop and a hut with many different kinds of toy vehicles and garden toys.
