About our German Kindergarten

Welcome to the Kindergarten of the German School Kuala Lumpur, where the youngest of our students come together. In Kindergarten our highly qualified, multicultural team cares in a nurturing environment for about 50 children aged between 2,5 and 6 years. Individual care givers and liaison persons are taking care of our mixed-age groups in a well-structured daily routine. We are guided by the mission statement of the German School Kuala Lumpur in our work, the German Thuringian Curriculum and the Quality Framework of the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad governing Kindergartens and Pre-schools.

An insight into our kindergarten

Our kindergarten is located in the southern part of the Eurocampus in the Hevea building. The German and French primary schools, as well as the French kindergarten, are also located there.

The kindergarten includes two interconnected group rooms, the preschool area, and our nap room for midday rest. We also share a sports hall with the primary school, including a climbing wall.

Our outdoor area surrounds the kindergarten building. It features a playground with a sports area for ball games, as well as a garden, which is also used for our water activities every Wednesday.
