Daily Program
We offer our children a clearly structured daily routine that provides orientation, security and reliability. Within this fixed structure, we deliberately design our everyday life to be flexible. The individual needs, topics, ideas and questions of the children are the focus of attention and have a major influence on the course and organisation of the day.
The morning begins with free play time. During this time, the children decide for themselves where, with whom, what and how long they want to play. Free play can take place both in their own group and in the other rooms of our kindergarten. During free play time, we offer:
- A stimulating and varied learning environment
- a lovingly laid breakfast table where the children can eat the breakfast they have brought with them
- targeted language support in small groups
- educational opportunities and project work
- one hour of preschool daily for children in their last year of kindergarten
Every Friday is our sports day in the large sports and climbing hall. On this day, all children come to kindergarten wearing their red DSKL sports shirt, gym shorts and sturdy trainers.
Every day, we spend about an hour in the garden or on the playground to give the children a variety of opportunities for physical activity and experiencing nature. Wednesdays are our water activity day, when our children can enjoy the cool water while playing in the paddling pool.
In the afternoon, we have a fruit snack together. The children bring a piece of fruit for our shared fruit basket every day.
A central element of our daily kindergarten routine is the daily circle time. This is where a variety of activities, discussions and games take place. Participation is an integral part of our educational work – both in everyday life and in regular children conferences, where the children can contribute their ideas, wishes, needs and concerns.
Once a month, we go on an outing, for example to a park, a museum or other interesting places.
To specifically promote German language skills, we offer DaZ/DaF support programmes for children whose mother tongue is not German.
At 12 noon, all children meet for lunch together.
Our opening hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Early childcare is available from 7:30 a.m. During this time, the children have the opportunity to arrive at the canteen area and the schoolyard and play freely.
We also offer regular extracurricular activities (AGs). For the 2025/26 school year, our program consists of the following activities: AG 2. SHJ 2025-2026
School buses are available in the morning, as well as at 3:00 PM and 4:15 PM.
