The Board meets on a regular basis to discuss and decide on important matters pertaining to the school such as finances, personnel, legal matters and receives an updated report on school activities by from the Headmaster and the Administration Manager. The minutes of the Board meetings are partly published within the Community.

Every year in October the Board reports to the members in a General Meeting about the actions of the past school year and presents the accounts. The Board presents also the budget for the current year. The Board has to be discharged. Every two years there is an election of the Board Members. Reelection is possible.

The Board meeting consist not only of the Board members. The headmaster, the Deputy-headmaster, the Administration Manager, a representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the elected Teacher Representatives are non voting members of the Board.
