09.30 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. free playtime and common breakfast with all children

11.00 a.m. - 12.15 a.m. free playtime in the Garden

12.15 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. Washing, changing clothes, break for fruits (individual groups)

12.30 p.m. –   1.00 p.m. Joint closing circle

Wasseraktivitäten (Water activities)

The Kindergarten children can enjoy water activities such as splashing, bathing, playing with foam in two basins and various bath tubs etc. once a week. The younger children may start, followed by the older ones after their group activities.

Please provide your child with a swim suit/trunk and a towel in a plastic bag. Both these items should bear the child’s name.  

Sports

Sports activities are taking place in three age groups once a week. The Preschool children will meet at 8.00 a.m. at the DSKL yard and move on to the school’s gym. The school bus will take the children back to the Kindergarten. 

At 8.45 a.m. the school bus will take children of at least 4 years of age from Kindergarten to DSKL for their sports activities, they will return by bus at 10.00 a.m.

This would be too challenging for the little ones. They can enjoy rhythm and sports in accordance with their developmental stage at the Kindergarten.

All children are required to wear their DSKL sports shirt and pants to Kindergarten/school with one extra shirt in their bag. The older children are to wear sneakers and bring a water bottle along. Please do not let them bring any extra sports bag along as the children themselves carry their sports wear on the bus.

Birthday

Der Geburtstag ist ein ganz wichtiges Ereignis im Leben eines Kindes. Das Geburtstagskind steht an diesem Tag im Kindergarten im Mittelpunkt. An Hand eines mit Hilfe der Eltern erstellten Buches werden Geschichten aus dem Leben des Geburtstagskindes erzählt und Bilder aus den verschiedenen Lebensjahren angeschaut. Es werden Kerzen angezündet und Wünsche ausgesprochen. Das Geburtstagskind erhält eine Krone und ein Geschenk vom Kindergarten und bringt für alle Kinder einen Kuchen oder anderen Lieblingssnack mit.

Healthy Breakfast

Your child’s birthday is a very important event in the life of your child. On this day the birthday child will be the most important person in Kindergarten. All children will hear stories and watch photos of the birthday child’s experiences, taken from a book prepared by the child’s parents. We will light candles and make birthday wishes.

The birthday child will be given a crown and receive a present from the Kindergarten, she/he may bring along a cake or other favorite snacks for all children.
